London | by Brenden Gibbins

Jack Flinn makes 52 saves for Owen Sound in 4-3 shootout loss to London.

Despite a 52 save performance by Jack Flinn, the Owen Sound Attack couldn't leave London with two points in OHL hockey.

The Attack fell to their Midwest Division rivals 4-3 in a shootout Friday night.

Matt Rupert scored once in regulation and again in the shootout to help London win their 9th straight game.  Matt's twin, Ryan, scored the game winner in the shootout.

Daniel Milne scored twice for the Attack while Kurtis Gabriel got the other for the visitors.

Flinn saw 55 shots in total, while London goaltender Jake Patterson stopper 22 saves for the win.

The Attack are back in action this evening when they host the Mississauga Steelheads.

Mississauga is coming off of a loss last night 4-1 to Oshawa.

And don't forget, Sunday afternoon is the Bears in Blue game against Ottawa at the Harry Lumley Bayshore Community Centre.
