The Rama Aces were up to the task in taking on the best team in the GMHL.
But the Seguin Huskies came out on top in the end in their second round series opener on Friday night.
Jacob Robitaille scored twice as Seguin came from behind to beat Rama 5-4.
The Aces opened up a 3-1 lead after the first period.
The Huskies went on to score 3 of their own in the second to take a 4-3 lead heading into the third period.
Lukas Krucky got the winner at the 12:33 mark of the third.
Jim Steele and Jacob Kulhanek also scored for the Huskies.
Derek Hartwick led the way for Rama with a goal and 3 assists.
Ryan Pipher, Francesco Corona, and Nick Arcan also replied for the Aces.
Rama's Tye Greschuk made 49 saves in the loss, Martin Kysa had 32 for the Huskies.
Game 2 of the best-of-5 goes Saturday in Seguin.
Game 3 is also in Seguin on Sunday.
