The Guelph Storm doubled the Owen Sound Attack 6-3 in Ontario Hockey League play Monday night at the JD McArthur Arena.
Jason Dickinson led the way with two goals and four points for the Storm who move to 95 points, good for top spot in the OHL's overall standings
Dickinson and linemates Scott Kosmachuk and Brock McGinn combined for 10 scoring points with Kosmachuk picking up two goals and an assist while McGinn had a three assist game.
Kerby Rychel and Robby Fabbri had the other goals in the victory as Guelph bounced back nicely from a 6-3 loss the day before at home against the Saginaw Spirit.
The game at Owen Sound was the first of five consecutive road games for the Storm who hit the road for three games up North this weekend with stops at North Bay, Sudbury and Sault Ste Marie.
The five game road stretch concludes with a game at Kitchener in early March.
Kyle Hope had a pair of goals for the Attack -- who have lost two in a row -- while Holden Cook had the other Owen Sound marker.
Guelph scored twice in a 27 second span in the first period then added another marker before the end of the period to grab a commanding 3-0 lead after one period of play.
The loss leaves Owen Sound four points back of Saginaw for 6th in the Western Conference heading to their next game Friday at London against the Knights.
