Knights Player of the Week Scores Twice Against Americans

The Knights of Meaford of the Greater Metro Hockey League wish to announce Eric Rogsater has been knighted for the second time this season as the Thornbury/Meaford PharmaSave Player of the Week ending January 26/14.

The 20 year-old -- who is a 6 foot 2 and 190 pound forward from Bromma, Sweden -- led his squad with a short handed and empty net marker versus Orangeville last Thursday night in Meaford played last week.

Rogsater sits sixth in overall team points with 12 goals and 17 assists for 29 points in 22 games played and accumulating just 19 penalty minutes.

On Thursday, the Knights clash with the South Muskoka Shield at the Meaford & St. Vincent Arena

Game time is set for 7:30 PM.

This is the first time these two teams will meet this season.

Meaford makes a return visit to Gravenhurst on Valentine’s Day February 14th.
