The Windsor Spitfires of the Ontario Hockey League dealt captain Kerby Rychel and defenceman Nick Ebert to the Guelph Storm in a major transaction.
In return, the Spitfires receive winger Brody Milne and nine draft picks including five second roundersRegardless, both releases stipulate the Spitfires will get five second round draft picks from Guelph ( 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017 and 2018 )
The deal came to light earlier this week, but Slater Koekkoek, not Ebert, was reported to be in the transaction.
It's believed that Koekkoek's reluctance stalled the deal, and may in fact have altered the Windsor package to include Ebert, not Koekkoek.
