Brace Suspended 8 Games

Owen Sound OA forward one of two players suspended by the OHL this week.

The Owen Sound Attack have learned that overage forward Cameron Brace has been suspended eight games by the Ontario Hockey League for a hit that took place last Friday in Plymouth.

The incident took place at the 1:58 mark of the first period.

Brace was assessed a two minute minor for checking to the head on the play.

Brace is eligible to return to play on November 16th when the Attack host Oshawa.

Brace will miss Wednesday night's game against the Barrie Colts.

Game time is 7:05 PM at the Harry Lumley Bayshore Community Centre.

The Ontario Hockey League today announced the results of the completion of the review of two (2) separate incidents which took place in games played on Friday October 25, 2013.



GAME OF OCTOBER 25TH, 2013 – OWEN SOUND AT PLYMOUTH

The Ontario Hockey League today announced the results of a review of an incident which took place in a game played in Plymouth on the 25th of October, 2013 involving the Whalers and the visiting Owen Sound Attack Hockey Club.

The incident reviewed was a checking to the head infraction assessed to player Cameron Brace of the Owen Sound Attack Hockey Club.

Based on such review, it is the position of the League that player Cameron Brace shall be suspended for eight (8) games effective immediately.

GAME OF FRIDAY, OCTOBER 25TH, 2013 – OSHAWA GENERALS AT MISSISSAUGA STEELHEADS:

The Ontario Hockey League today announced the results of a review of an incident which took place in a game played in Mississauga on the 25th of October, 2013 involving the Steelheads and the visiting Oshawa Generals Hockey Club.

The incident reviewed was a 5 minute major and game misconduct for checking to the head assessed to player Damian Bourne of the Mississauga Steelheads Hockey Club.

Based on such review, it is the position of the League that player Damian Bourne shall be suspended for ten (10) games, dating from but not including the game of Friday, October 25th, 2013.
