Attack Waive Pezzetta

18 year old forward released by Attack , GM close to making a trade.

The Owen Sound Attack of the Ontario Hockey League have waived forward Stefano Pezzetta.

General Manager Dale DeGray confirmed the move on Wednesday morning.

The 18 year old Pezzetta is just coming off an eight game suspension and has found it difficult to crack the Attack lineup.

As a rookie, Pezzetta scored two goals and tallied one assist in 27 games with Owen Sound last season.

DeGray also tells Bayshore Broadcasting News that a separate deal is on the table, however the terms and conditions being discussed are holding up the potential transaction.

Stefano Pezzetta Clears Waivers

The Owen Sound Attack is announcing that forward Stefano Pezzetta has cleared waivers and will be free to join a team of his choice.

Pezzetta, 18, was in his sophomore season with the Attack and was a 12th Round Pick of the club in 2011. In 27 games last season, Pezzetta tallied two goals and an assist.

“We wish Stefano the best of luck resuming his career and would like to thank him for his efforts during his time with our organization.”, stated Attack General Manager, Dale DeGray.

The Attack is back in action on Thursday when they hit the road to take on the Windsor Spitfires, before travelling to Plymouth on Friday to face the Whalers.
