Cougars Remain Undefeated

Middleton has not allowed a run in pitching for Kalamazoo Valley College.

(Kalamazoo) -

Port Elgin native Tyler Middleton and the Kalamazoo Valley Community College Cougars are now undefeated in their last 11 consecutive games.  

On Thursday, October 3 they hosted Lake Michigan Community College winning the opener 6-4 while the second game of the double header ended in a 2-2 tie after 6 innings when the game was called due to darkness.

Middleton, a freshman, threw one inning in relief allowing no runs and no hits while walking two.  So far in three appearances he has not allowed a run.       

Tyler Middleton is a graduate of Saugeen Shores Minor Baseball, Owen Sound Minor Baseball, and the Ontario Blue Jays of the Premier Baseball League of Ontario.

KVCC now has a fall exhibition record of 11 wins, 1 loss, and 1 tie.  

Their next action is Saturday when they visit Muskegon Community College in Muskegon, Michigan.
