Horvat Heartbreak For Colts

Knights win Robertson Cup with last second 3-2 win over Barrie in Game 7 of OHL Final.

The London Knights are once again champions of the OHL.

The Knights beat the Barrie Colts in Game 7 on Monday night on a buzzer-beater.

Bo Horvat scored his second goal of the game with less than one second left in the third period to give London a 3-2 victory.

The win gives the Knights their second-consecutive title and will go to Saskatoon to represent the OHL in the Memorial Cup tournament.

Horvat was named the Wayne Gretzky 99 Award winner as playoff MVP.

London opened with a 1-0 in the first period on Horvat's first goal.

Andreas Athanasiou tied it up for the Colts over a minute and a half later.

Olli Maatta put the Knights up 2-1 in the second period on a power play..

Mitchell Theoret evened the game up at two when he scored with less than 3 minutes left in the third.

The Colts were without forward Mark Scheifele who was injured in Game 6 and did not make the trip to London.

Jake Patterson started his third straight game and made 30 saves for the Knights.

Mathias Niederberger stopped 45 shots and was sensational for the undermanned Colts who were also without Anthony Camara & Michael Webster.
