Windsor beats Sault Ste Marie to stay alive in the OHL playoff race.

Spitifres 7 Greyhounds 4 Kerby Rychel scored twice for the Spitifres who avoided elimination from playoff contention. Brady Vail, Josh Ho-Sang, Ben Johnson, Remy Giiftopoulos and Nick Ebert had the other goals for Windsor who will be eliminated from the Western Conference post season with one more loss, or another win by Saginaw Underage Jared McCann paced the Greyhounds with two goals, while Brandon Alderson and Ryan Sproul also scored for Sault Ste Marie who lost 5 of 6 head to head meetings with Windsor this year.
Rookie Greg Betzold scored twice for the Petes who have clawed their way to within 2 points of Kingston for the final playoff spot in the Eastern Conference. Nelson Armstrong and Stephen Nosad also scored for Peterborough Cody Alcock was the only member of the Frontenacs to beat Andrew D'Agostini. D'Agostini made 33 saves including back to back breakaway stops
Brendan Perlini scored the shootout winner for the IceDogs Brett Ritchie, Ryan Strome & Carter Verhaeghe also scored for Niagara Rookie Brent Moran made 25 saves to pick up his third straight win. Lucas Venuto, Kristoff Kontos and Andrew Goldberg scored for Mississauga
Mark Scheifele had two goals for the Colts who move to within 1 point of Belleville for first place in the Eastern Conference. Mitchell Theoret, Ryan O'Connor and Brendan Lemieux also scored for Barrie who have won 4 straight heading to a showdown Saturday night at the Molson Centre against the Bulls Charlie Dodero had the lone goal for the Wolves.
