Petes Miracle Run Continues

Peterborough beats Brampton to continue push for the OHL playoffs.

One game in the Ontario Hockey League last night.

The Peterborough Petes beat the Brampton Battalion 3-1

Andrew D'Agostini made 46 saves to post the shutout.

Nick Czinder and Jonatan Tanus each had a goal and an assist for Peterborough while Stephen Pierog also scored in the victory.

The win by Peterborough pulls them to within 2 points of Kingston for the final playoff spot in the Eastern Conference. At 1 point, the Petes were 16 points out of a playoff spot.

Patrik Machac scored the only goal for Brampton who remain 5th in the Eastern Conference.
