The Owen Sound Attack has named goaltender Jordan Binnington the Becker Shoes Attacker of the Week.

Binnington started three games this past week for the Attack, posting a 2.46GAA and .916 save percentage with a 1-2 record.

On Wednesday night, Binnington picked up his 6th shutout in a 3-0 win over the Barrie Colts on home ice. Gemel Smith and Steven Janes had the singles while Cameron Brace picked up the empty net goal.

On Friday in Guelph, Binnington made 26 saves, some of the spectacular variety in a 2-1 loss to the Storm. The Attack were at home on Saturday against the very same Storm team and were not able to find the back of the net as they were shut out by a score of 5-0.

Binnington now sits with a 2.24 GAA, .931 save percentage and 6 shutouts on the season.

The Attack is back in action on Wednesday when they host the Barrie Colts. Game time on Wednesday evening is 7 PM.
