An update on that huge fire in September at Hoppy's One Stop in Tobermory.
The Bruce Peninsula OPP crime unit has wrapped up its investigation into the blaze and the findings were inconclusive as to a cause.
The fire levelled the convenience store and Carolines Restaurant, along with an apartment in the back of the building.
Flames broke out just before 9 PM on September 24th, and by the time firefighters arrived, the fire was coming thru the roof.
Strong winds actually helped the efforts of firefighters trying to stop the blaze from spreading.
Deputy Fire Chief Wilf Barnes says the wind was coming almost directly out of the west, which helped the firefighters keep the fire from spreading to the nearby garage and gas pumps, as well as two 450 litre propane tanks on the property.
No one was injured in the blaze, which did an estimated 400 thousand dollars in damage.
