There will be no change in the recycling and garbage pickup schedule in Georgian Bluffs.
Council talked last week about a garbage and recycling survey that would see residents recycle more household waste.
Right now, garbage pickup is weekly and recycling every other week.
Council wanted to get feedback on reversing that schedule, to weekly recycling and bi-weekly for garbage.
Of the more than 10 thousand residents in Georgian Bluffs, only 281 responded.
And Clerk Bruce Hoffman tells Bayshore Broadcasting News 68 per cent of those who responded wanted to keep the recycling the same.
And 54 per cent wanted garbage pick-up to remain the status quo.
Based on the survey results, Council agreed to leave the Garbage and Recycling collections as they currently are.
Councillor and Environment Committee Chair, Tom Wiley, says it looks like many ratepayers in the municipality are already doing a good job recycling.
But Wiley would like to better educate the public on their recycling obligations.
