Orillia's Park Street Trojans are champions in Georgian Bay Senior high school football.
Park Street got the best of the Barrie Central Phoenix scoring 4 touchdowns en route to a 32-0 win in the AAA final at the West Orillia Sports Complex Saturday afternoon.
This game was scoreless until the 2nd quarter when quarterback James Stevenson made a slick pass to John Davis for the touchdown.
Park Street did most of their scoring in the second half, opening the 3rd quarter with only a 7-0 lead.
Avery Pope made an outstanding interception followed by two short runs that resulted in a Park Street touchdown by John Shields.
Later on in the 3rd, Park Street's Scott Seymour made it 21-0 with a successful 15 yard run for another TD.
Late in the 4th, two safeties were made thanks to the Park Street's defense followed by another Trojans' touchdown.
As the game came to an end, Park Street's punter sent Barrie Central packing with a 70-yard punt as the game came to an end.
This is the second time in three years that the Trojans have won the Senior Triple-A Georgian Bay Championship.
