A fifth man is under arrest in connection with an assault in downtown Orillia last weekend.

Orillia OPP say the suspect and at least four other men confronted another group of men outside a bar in the area of Wyandotte and Victoria Streets early Saturday morning.

They say they were armed with weapons and chased the other group around before getting into a physical altercation.

Three of the victims received injuries, and were treated and released from Orillia Soldiers' Memorial Hospital.

A 19-year-old man from Orillia is charged with four counts of assault with a weapon and will appear in an Orillia court on December 4th.

Four others were arrested at the scene and held for bail.
