The Owen Sound Attack played three games in three days in Ontario Hockey League action, and collected five out of a possible six points to get back into first place in the Western Conference.

The Attack capped the weekend with a 5-2 win over the Windsor Spitifires on Sunday afternoon at the Harry Lumley Bayshore Community Centre.

Joseph Blandisi scored twice and setup one more goal to lead the Attack as they improved to 10-2-2.

Daniel Catenacci and Gemel Smitch each had a goal and an assist, while Cameron Brace scored a single goal.

Chris Marchese scored twice for the Spitfires.

Jordan Binnington made 36 saves for the win and he played in all three OHL games for the Attack on the weekend.

Owen Sound Head Coach Greg Ireland says he was happy with the way his team played on Sunday after playing what he thought was a poor game on Saturday night, despite a 3-1 victory over the Sudbury Wolves.

Jaroslav Pavelka stopped 10-of-13 shots for Windsor through the first 20 minutes of the game beforeJordan DeKort played the final two periods in net for Windsor and stopped 20-of-22 shots in relief.

The Attack also salvaged a point in a 3-2 shootout loss in Kitchener on Friday night.

Owen Sound will now hit the road and play next weekend in Erie on Friday and Saturday night before returning to Kitchener for a game on Sunday night against the Rangers.
