Despite sending things to overtime and then into a shoot out, Owen Sound lost 3-2 to Kitchener on the road Friday in the OHL.

Gemel Smith scored the tying goal for the Attack with just over a minute left in regulation sending the game into OT.

John Gibson was solid in net for the Rangers, stopping 42 shots in regulation and all five shoot out attempts by the Attack.

Owen Sound plays at home Saturday against Sudbury at the Harry Lumley Bayshore Community Centre.

Sudbury is coming off a 7-2 win over Niagara.

Game time is 7:30 PM.
