A section of the Harrison Park Fitness Trail in Owen Sound is closed.

The City has closed the trail between the Parkview Ravine and 4th Street East at the northern section of the trail.

The closure is due to safety concerns during the reconstruction of the storm sewer and outfall on 4th Street and 6th Avenue East to the Sydenham River.

The reconstruction will take about 8 weeks to complete.

The section of the trail south of the Parkview Ravine will remain open.
