(Owen Sound) -

In OHL action, the Owen Sound Attack win streak was stopped at five games.

The Oshawa Generals clipped the Attack 2-1 at the Harry Lumley Bayshore on Saturday night.

Scott Laughton scored the game winner for the Oshawa Generals midway thru the second period.

Gemel Smith on a power play was the lone Attack scorer.

Smith actually netted another goal, but it was waived off for incidental contact in the goal area.

With the loss, and Guelph's win over Saginaw 8-5 last night, the Storm are now tied with Owen Sound for 1st place in the midwest division.

The Owen Sound Attack are back in action on Friday night in Kitchener.
