The 31st  edition of the Port Elgin Curling Club Super Spiel will be taken place November 9, 10 and 11.

The dates have been changed form their normal February time because of conflicting competitions at that time of year.

"By having the event early in the season we are hoping to attract some top notch curling teams looking for some good competition to sharpen their game" Said bonspiel chair Fred Fleet.

Fleet appears to be correct as a number of strong teams have already entered including returning champion Peter Mellor of Kitchener.

Although it is filling fast a few spots still remain.
