A man is in custody in connection with a shooting in Wasaga Beach.

Huronia West OPP say they have arrested a 28-year-old Toronto man with various weapons and assault charges.

The arrest comes as police were investigating a shooting at a residence on 22nd Street on Canada Day.

One man was reportedly hit by the gunfire but managed to survive.

Police are still investigating.
