The Ontario Liberals slammed Bruce Grey Owen Sound MPP Bill Walker and the rest of the Conservatives for voting against the "Healthy Homes Renovation Tax Credit".

MPP's Lisa Thompson and Bill Walker are both mentioned in a government release that blasts the Tories for not backing the proposed 15 hundred dollar credit.

It claims it would create jobs and help seniors trying to live a home longer.

The Local Conservative MPP says the credit won't do much.

Walker says to get the full benefit, you have to spend 10 thousand dollars.

He adds if a senior can afford to spend 10 thousand dollars in grab bars, chair lifts and other devices at home, they are probably not the ones who need to be targeted with a tax credit.

Walker says he has not had any calls or emails in support of the legislation.
