Legal challenge of Grey County's use of Lord's Prayer delayed until January.

(Grey County) -

The court battle over the Lord's Prayer in Grey County has delayed until the new year.

The County was to appear in court on Thursday, but it did not occur.

The case has now been adjourned to January 10th, 2013.

Kimberley resident Peter Ferguson has filed a lawsuit against the County for using the Lord's Prayer.

Ferguson claims the use of the prayer is unconstitutional because it violates his religious freedom.

Grey County has since changed the prayer used before the start of its Council meetings, but Ferguson says he doesn't like the new prayer either.
