News Release from Owen Sound Attack

The Attack will look for their 4th win in a row on Saturday evening when 92.3 The Dock presents all of the action against the Peterborough Petes. The Petes are coming off of a 4-3 overtime loss to the Kingston Frontenacs at home, while the Attack are coming off a 4-2 win over Plymouth.

For Petes Sake: The Petes have earned 3 out of 4 points so far this week after General Manager Dave Reid was relieved of his duties. Reid was let go after Peterborough started the season with a 1-5 record and missing the playoffs the previous year. The Petes are last in the Eastern Conference in Goals Against with 31 allowed over an 8 game span but do have the necessary firepower to bury a team if they fire on all cylinders.

Look Out For: If the name Francis Menard sounds familiar to Attack fans, it is likely because they have seen him 8 times a year over the course of the last 3 seasons. Menard joined the Petes in the off season after spending the last three seasons with the Guelph Storm. Menard currently leads the Petes in scoring with 10 points in 8 games.

How they Stack Up: Attack; 1st in Western Conference with 13 points. Petes; 9th in Eastern Conference with 5 points.

Tickets for Saturday’s tilt are available at the Attack Box Office, online at www.attackhockey.com or by calling (519) 371-7452.

Game time on Saturday is 7:30 PM.
