Giugovaz Backstops Victory


(Peterborough) -

The Peterborough Petes dumped the Niagara IceDogs 3-1 in the OHL.

Michael Giugovaz made 40 saves to post the victory for the Petes

Francis Menard had a goal & 3 points for Peterborough who earlier in the day relieved General Manager Dave Reid of his duties

Slater Koekkoek and Jonatan Tanus had the other goals in the victory.

Former Owen Sound Attack forward Steven Shipley got the lone goal for Niagara

The Owen Sound Attack host the Plymouth Whalers tonight at 7 pm at the JD McArthur Arena
