People around the area will soon be able to have a say on whether there should be a 300 slot casino.

A joint public information meeting for those living in Wasaga Beach, Collingwood, Clearview and Springwater Townships is being held on Tuesday, October 16th at 7 PM at the Rec Plex in Wasaga Beach.

And then for Wasaga residents and business owners only, a meeting will be held, again at the Rec Plex, on Wednesday, October 24th at 7 PM.

And there is now a survey on the Wasaga Beach town website.

The OLG has deemed the four communities an underserviced gaming area and Wasaga Beach has expressed interest in considering being a host community.

Collingwood councillors will discuss whether they want a casino in Collingwood at Monday night's council meeting.
