Green Fair includes art extravaganza, live music and a treasure sale.
(Blue Mountains) -
The 6th annual Green Fair in Thornbury takes place Saturday, rain or shine.
You can stroll through the eco market, check out the re-purposed art extravaganza and relax to live music while the kids partake in one of the many different "green" activities.
A wide variety of vendors will be there including farmers with local organic produce and a toy maker that focuses on sustainable products.
"Green Fair" is put on by the town of the Blue Mountains and the LE Shore Library.
Kristen Davies -- the Coordinator for Children and Youth Services -- says it's a great chance for the community to see what environmentally conscious products are available in the area.
The "Repurposed Art Extravaganza" is this year's featured event.
There is also a giant treasure sale which Davies says is really an upscale garage sale, with reasonably priced items.
"Green Fair" takes place from 1 PM to 4 PM at the LE Shore Memorial Library in Thornbury.
