Thieves Hit Gas Bar

OPP looking for thieves who stole food and cash from the Chesley Gas Bar.


(Chesley) -

Police are looking for thieves after a break-in at the Chesley Gas Bar on Bruce Road 10.

South Bruce OPP say it was broken into overnight either on Sunday September 9th or Monday September 10th.

Police say thieves got in thru a side door. 

The list of stolen property includes: cigarettes, pepperettes, chocolate bars and a quantity of cash. 

The total value of the stolen items is estimated to be two thousand dollars and the cost to repair damage done to the business is approximately one thousand dollars.

Anyone with information on this theft is asked to call the South Bruce OPP or Crime Stoppers.
