Officials scramble to set up temporary judges booth, and racing will be held Saturday.
There will be racing at Hanover Raceway on Saturday night.
General Manager Gord Dougan has been meeting with officials from the Ontario Racing commission, and got the news to open just before Noon on Saturday.
Dougan says they are satisfied with the sight-lines and set-up so he got the green light to hold racing tonight
On Thursday, a small fire destroyed the photo finish booth and judges booth at the top of the grandstand.
Dougan had to scramble to set up a make-shift facility..
With only four weeks of racing left in the season, the General Manager says they'll be using this temporary set up for the remainder of the season.
Damage is between 40 to 100 thousand dollars.
Raceway Manager Gord Dougan says if some of the equipment like cameras and computers can be saved, then the damage figure will be low.
If not, he says it will approach 100 thousand dollars.

12 horsemen and builders, including Keith Waples and Dave Wall, and 1 horse are being honoured tonight in Hanover.
