Bryan Kazarian named MVP; Jamie Grimoldby playoff MVP for the Senior North Stars.
![]() (Owen Sound) - The Owen Sound Quantum Properties NorthStars held their year end awards day yesterday. The NorthStars finished third in the regular season this year and advanced to the Ontario Championship series before they were eliminated by the St Catharines Saints. The Most Valuable Player for the NorthStars this season was Bryan Kazarian who had 21 points in 10 games this year for Owen Sound. The Playoff MVP was Jamie Grimoldby who had 11 goals and 33 points in the post season for Quantum Properties. Also picking up hardware on Saturday was Brandon McMillen who led the team in scoring with 43 points this year. Nick Brown was selected as the NorthStars Rookie of the Year while the Top Defensive Player was awarded to Nick Quaid. The final two awards handed out Saturday went to Sean Holmes as the Most Sportsmanlike Player and to Goalkeeper Ryan Oldrieve who won the Coaches Choice Award.
