A 52 year old Master Warrant Officer from CFB Borden is tackling the Bruce Trail to raise money for "Soldier On".

Didier Naulleau started his walk in the Niagara Falls area August 1st and is now north of Owen Sound on his way to Tobermory.

He hopes to complete the 885 kilometre walk on August 30th, and his goal is to raise 50 thousand dollars.

Soldier On is an organization that works with military personnel who have suffered catastrophic injuries.

Naulleau says many of the injured were very athletic before being hurt, and afterwards suffer from depression and thoughts of suicide.

Soldier On helps to provide hope and a goal to the soldiers, by providing wheelchairs for basketball, sleds for hockey and other similar aids .
