Larry Miller supports call for wind moratorium until Health Canada completes study.

The Conservative MP for Bruce Grey Owen Sound is supporting the call for a moratorium on wind farms.

Larry Miller says he will write a letter to Ontario Premier Dalton McGuinty -- urging him to stop the construction of wind turbines until Health Canada completes its study.

As we first told you this week -- Health Canada will conduct a two year study on the impact wind turbines have on the health of people living near them.

Miller says it's not appropriate to build any more turbines until the study is finished and we know its impact on the health of residents.

Bruce Grey Owen Sound MPP Bill Walker has also called for a moratorium on any new wind development.

There are plans to build more than 200 wind turbines on the Bruce Peninsula and another 140 north of Goderich.
