Longest Day of Play.

The results are in for second annual Longest Day of Play and Saugeen Shores wins.

 

The results are in for the second annual Longest Day of Play in Grey Bruce.

The winner is Saugeen Shores logging a total of 3,582 hours.

Grey Highlands was the runner up at 3,032 hours. And Brockton had a total of 2,491 hours of play.

Trophies were awarded to the municipalities with the most hours logged.

June 21st marked the longest day of the year, and the longest day of the summer.

The Longest Day of PLAY is a community-based challenge to encourage Grey Bruce residents to get more active.

Trophies were awarded to the municipalities who log the most number of PLAY hours.

The occasion also marked the five year anniversary of the PLAY in Bruce Grey physical activity strategy.

The goal is to combat obesity and encourage healthy active living in our region.
