Two friends from the Brockton area, are sharing 100 thousand dollars from a Lotto 6-49 draw.

William Owens and John Cassidy of Cargill, always say ‘yes’ to  ENCORE and now they are the latest winners to claim the Encore prize in the June 13th draw.

The two have been playing Encore for nearly 10 years.

William Owens told OLG officials in Toronto he was shocked, when he found out they had won.

He plans to share his windfall with his wife, go on a trip and pay off a few bills while John Cassidy plans to use his windfall to pay off his debts.

The winning ticket was purchased at Cargill Variety on Main Street in Cargill.

Since 1975, OLG lotteries, casinos, slots, and resort casinos have generated more than 34 billion dollars for the benefit of the Province of Ontario.

Gaming proceeds support Ontario's hospitals, amateur sport, recreational and cultural activities, communities, and provincial priority programs such as health care and education.
