The Ausable-Bayfield Conservation Authority says they welcome recent the recent rainfall in the watersheds.
But the Authority is maintaining a level-one low water advisory even though we've had a good amount of rain in recent days.
A total of almost 40-millimetres of rain hasn't been enough to lift the advisory despite the fact there was a rebound in the levels of some watercourses.
ABCA officials say the rebound was only temporary and that stream flows continue to be far below normal for this time of year.
The Authority continues to ask residents, farmers, business and industry to keep voluntarily cutting back on water use where it's practical until further notice.
The ABCA's Water Response Team will review conditions in the Ausable, Bayfield and Parkhill Creek watersheds in early July.
