Drunks Go Wild

Driver charged after giving OPP wrong name, another man plays chicken with cars.

A 46 year old Toronto man is facing charges after being stopped for speeding near Brockton.

South Bruce OPP clocked his car at 127 kilometres an hour in an 80-K zone on Bruce Road 3 on Sunday evening .

When pulled over, the driver initially provided a false name to police. 

The OPP check and found he was a suspended driver. 

The Toronto man is charged with Speeding, Fail to identify, Obstruct police, Obstruct justice and Drive while suspended. 

He was held in custody for two days, before being released in Walkerton court.

In a separate incident -- South Bruce OPP arrested a man Saturday around 9 PM who was playing chicken and jumping in front of cars on Yonge street in Walkerton. 

One car had to brake sharply to avoid a collision. 

The officer found the man very intoxicated and arrested the 26 year old West Grey man on a charge of Public intoxication.
