Budding scientists will be showing the projects at two science fairs this month.
Put on by the Bluewater Regional Science and Technology Fair, the competitions are open to all students in Grey and Bruce County.
Chair John Twelves says the secondary school competition is today at the Bayshore Community Centre in Owen Sound -- and the elementary competition is set for April 11th.
Parents can check out the projects between 3 PM and 4:30 PM on each of those days, with the awards ceremony immediately following.
Twelves says there are over 300 science projects on display from across Grey Bruce this year.
Today, the Grade 7 to 12 competition is on, with the top six projects going to the Canadian wide science fair in P.E.I. from May 10th to the 17th.
At the Canadian competition -- there is approximately one million dollars in cash, scholarships and bursaries up for grabs.
