Owen Sound Attack 6 Kitchener Rangers 5 in overtime

Eastern Conference Quarterfinals

Oshawa 5 Niagara 3

The best of 7 is tied 2-2

 

Brampton 4 Sudbury 3 in double overtime

The Battalion sweep the best of 7; 4-0


 

Attack 6 Rangers 5 in overtime

Kyle Hope scored 5 minutes into overtime as the Attack staved off elimination

 Hope, a defenceman converted to forward due to injuries and suspension, scored twice in the victory while Zach Nastasiuk, Daniel Zweep, Chris Bigras and Daniel Catenacci also scored for Owen Sound.

Rangers defenceman Cody Sol sent the game to overtime with a goal to tie the game at 5, with just under a minute remaining in regulation.

Tobias Rieder scored twice for the Rangers while Zach Lorentz and Andrew Crescenzi also scored in the loss.

Kitchener still leads the series, now by a 3-1 count with Game 5 tomorrow night at Kitchener ( 7:15 pm for Grey Motors Bearadio on CFOS )



Spirit 4 Sting 3 in overtime

Josh Shalla scored his second goal of the game at 1:48 of overtime as the Spirit tied the best of 7 at 2 wins apiece.

This is the third straight game of the series to go to overtime

 Brandon Saad & Garret Ross also scored for the Spirit.

Brett Thompson, Nail Yakupov and Nathan Chiarlitti scored for Sarnia

Game 5 is Friday in Sarnia,

Generals 5 IceDogs 3

Lucas Lessio scored twice for the Generals who tied the best of 7 at 2 wins apiece

Lessio is a former first round draft pick of the IceDogs who refused to play for the club.

Game 5 is Saturday in St. Catharines,  

 

Battalion 4 Wolves 3 in double overtime

Cameron Wind scored at 14:47 of the second overtime as the Battalion completed a four-game sweep

 Ian Watters, Jamie Lewis and Derek Froats also scored for Brampton 

Michael Sgarbossa, Joshua Leivo and Derek Schoenmakers replied for the Wolves.
