No Sking at Blue

Blue Mountains | by Kevin Bernard

Blue Mountain will closed today and tomorrow, will try to open on Saturday.

All this warm weather has forced officials at Blue Mountain to close the resort.

It will be closed Thursday and Friday, but conditions permitting, officials at Blue will try to re-open a trail or two in the central area of the resort for one final day of skiing on Saturday.

Blue Mountain resort encourages guests to visit their conditions report for trail and lift updates on Saturday at www.bluemountain.ca/conditions

Meanwhile, the Canadian Shield event will still run, but has been moved to Friday and Saturday on the Smart Alec trail.

The course will be a hike-up area for registered competitors only.

The event will have a festival feel to it.
