Zone 11 Dominion Men's Curling Playdown

at Owen Sound Blue Water

Joey Rettinger of Tara won the " A " final defeating Al Hutchinson 9-7.

The Hutchinson rink won the " B "  qualifier over Tom Slumskie of Tara.

Rettinger and Hutchinson now advance to the Region 3 Playdown at Meaford next month

Ray Heuther had a hat trick for the Cullitons who had 52 shots on goal

Mitch Wright, Zack Coulter & Brandon Lamothe scored for Owen Sound

The Greys will face the Guelph Hurricanes Friday at the Harry Lumley-Bayshore in their final game before Christmas

The Owen Sound Junior B NorthStars have named Keith Peer as their new head coach

Peer, a graduate of Owen Sound Minor Lacrosse played goal for the Junior B Dutchmen in the 90's.

Jamie Grimoldby will be one of Peer's assistant coaches
