Drugs, Weapons Seized

Police have arrested three people after drugs and weapons seized from Highway 4 home.

A 24 year old South Huron man is in Huron OPP custody awaiting a bail hearing on drug and weapons charges after police exercised a search of a home on Highway 4.

He's among three people charged.

OPP say they raided the house and several outbuildings Friday and seized quantities of marijuana bud, cocaine, oxycodone pills, ecstasy pills and codeine pills.

Estimated street value of the drugs is over 16-thousand dollars.

Over 32-hundred dollars in cash along with scales, packaging material and ammunition were also seized.

The 24 year-old along with a 56 year-old man and a 54 year-old woman are charged with possession, possession for the purpose of trafficking, unsafe storage of a firearm and unauthorized possession of a firearm.
