Confrontational Teen in Barrie

16 year old drunk spent some time in a cell after assaulting police.

A confrontational Barrie teen spent some time in a cell.

Police were called about a girl passed out in front of an east end home on Saturday night.

When officers arrived, they believed the teen was intoxicated and when they tried to help, she allegedly started kicking, punching and spitting.

A 16 year old was taken to the Barrie police station until a relative could be called.

She was charged and eventually released to her grandfather.
