Entertainment for Goderich

Grand Bend | by Peter Jackson

Singing and Dancing at Huron County Playhouse to raise funds for tornado rebuild.

An afternoon of singing and dancing on stage at the Huron Country Playhouse in Grand Bend to support the post-tornado rebuilding of Goderich.

Artistic Director of the Huron Country Playhouse Alex Mustakas tells us some pretty big names have assembled for the one-time-only celebration on Sunday afternoon.

Among those providing the entertainment in "Spotlight on Goderich" are Tony-nominated Louise Pitre who appeared in "Mamma Mia" on Broadway.

David Rogers who starred in the Toronto production of "Phantom of the Opera" also appears on the star-studded playbill.

Mustakas says while the production is meant to be uplifting the seriousness of the job of rebuilding Goderich is not forgotten.

He suggests that even though all the seats are spoken for you might still be able to get in on a standby basis if there are any no-shows.

All ticket proceeds go the the United Way of Perth-Huron for tornado relief in Goderich.
