Wasaga Beach | by Mariane McLeod

Seven businesses broken into since August, 39 year old man charged.

Police in Wasaga Beach have arrested a man they say broke into seven businesses over the last few months.

A man was arrested Thursday night after Huronia West OPP got a call from someone who saw a break-in, in progress at the Beeches Restaurant on Main Street.

The man was caught by police after a short foot chase near the restaurant.

Police say the same man is responsible for break-ins and thefts from six other business starting in August -- including robberies at the Euro Lex restaurant, Georgian Circle, 50's and 60's diner, Canton Buffet, Wasaga Decoration and Blue Shores Flowers.

39 year old Ronald Brinson of Wasaga Beach was in court last Thursday in Newmarket to face seven charges of Break and Enter.
