Satellites is bringing world class coaching to Owen Sound. Mr. Florin Matei has conditionally signed on as Head Coach and General Manager. This is unprecedented and a tremendous opportunity for a small Club and the community, to put the Club and Grey-Bruce on the map in gymnastics.

The Club is maintaining its largest and strongest competitive team ever, plus boys/men’s classes are growing each session. Present coaching staff is as strong as ever but The Club needed an expert in the sport and in day-to-day operations of an organization, and someone with the experience to raise the quality of recreational training and advance the competitive athletes to higher Provincial and National competition, and to mentor coaching staff at all levels to maximize their potential.

Florin flew to Canada from Tel Aviv to spend Thanksgiving weekend in Owen Sound. He loved the Club, said the culture was amazing, the kids are eager and talented, and he really likes Owen Sound as a place to raise his family.

To start in 2012
