Money Stolen From Church

Goderich | by Peter Jackson

Huron OPP looking for suspect who stole admission proceeds from lunch and yard sale.

It may be a new low that ranks with poppy box thefts.

Huron OPP say a thief took a metal box filled with the admission proceeds of a lunch and yard sale held at a church on Gibbons Street in Goderich on Saturday.

The thief made his getaway despite being chased by church volunteers.

Police are looking for a white man in his early 20's, around 5-foot-8 with a slight build and a dark moustache.

When last seen he was wearing a Green Bay Packers hoody.
