Owen Sound Attack coach Greg Ireland was officially suspended yesterday and the suspension is now officially over

After a conference call yesterday with the Ontario Hockey League, Ireland was suspended for 2 games, which he has already served

On the opening faceoff Thursday night at Peterborough, Mike Halmo came off the ice and Daniel Zweep took his place, and Zweep promptly became involved in a fight just 8 seconds into the game

The OHL suspended Ireland indefinitely, forcing him to miss the home & home with Kitchener last week.

As a result of missing those two games against the Rangers, Ireland will return to the Attack bench Thursday when Owen Sound visits Barrie

You can hear the game Thursday from Barrie on Grey Motors Bearadio on CFOS

Bearadio is brought to you in part by Locking Business Furnishings
