There is a lot of activity going on in the region to support healthy living.
The Heart & Stroke Foundation's Walk for Heart takes place Saturday morning at Harrison Park in Owen Sound.
Fit For Heart Program Coordinator Eileen Comars says the event is to raise money for the foundation, but also to raise awareness about heart disease, and how healthy active living can prevent it.
Registration for the event starts at 9:30 AM, with the walk starting at 10 AM.
You can choose to walk 1.5 kilometres or five kilometres.
Meanwhile at Port Elgin's North Shore Park, the second annual Pretty in Pink 5K Your Way is taking place.
Last year's inaugural run brought in about eight thousand dollars from 80 runners.
The fundraiser is part of the Pretty in Pink gala taking place next weekend, with proceeds going to breast cancer programs in the Grey-Bruce area.
You can run, walk, bike or roller blade in this event.
Registration starts at 9 AM with the 5K getting underway at 10 AM.
Everyone is encouraged to wear as much pink as possible for this event.
