While you're enjoying the beach this long weekend, Wasaga Beach provincial park staff asks you to stay clear if you see any dead birds or fish.

Park staff are reporting a die-off of small fish and birds because of Type E Botulism.

Die-offs are common on the Great Lakes according to the parks.

Staff is working to get rid of the dead fish and birds.

You're asked to keep your pets away from dying or dead animals.
